Jaimes Boles

Chairman, National Argicaltural Association of Guinea-Bissau ( ANAG )

With over 40 years of experience in advancing sustainable farming and rural development. A leader in agricultural policy and innovation, he advocates for food security, environmental stewardship, and farmer empowerment.

Juilio Malan Injai

Former Director General of Agriculture at Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Guinea-Bissau

Now serves as a Cashew Consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). A seasoned expert in agricultural development, he continues to shape Guinea-Bissau's agricultural landscape, focusing on enhancing the cashew sector and rural development initiatives.

Ermelinda Pedro Mendonça

Head Women Horticulture Association Guinea-Bissau

A committed horticulturist and educator, she has championed women’s empowerment through sustainable farming, literacy, and entrepreneurship since 1992. Her leadership spans national training programs, international exchanges, and grassroots agroecology initiatives across Guinea-Bissau.

Bacar Sila Dafe

Community Leader

An experienced Agricultural Technician trained in rural extension, he serves as Regional Delegate of ANAG and coordinates key initiatives for women farmers and rice producers. He work focuses on community land rights, agricultural development, and promoting water hygiene and basic sanitation in rural areas.

Fatumata Sisse

Head of the HGHARON Women's Cooperative Mansaba Sector

Leads initiatives to empower women through sustainable horticultural practices. With a strong commitment to community development, she spearheads efforts to improve agricultural productivity, enhance food security, and foster economic independence for local women farmers.

Sali Seidi

Women's Horticulturists' Cooperative CAFAM Mansode Sector

She leads initiatives to empower women through innovative horticultural practices. Dedicated to improving agricultural output and fostering economic independence, she plays a pivotal role in enhancing the livelihoods of local women farmers and advancing sustainable farming techniques.

Alexandre Cabral

Former National Director of the United Nations Climate Change Programme in Guinea-Bissau

A Petrochemical Engineer and Environmental Specialist with deep expertise in climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable development. Now retired from public office, he actively consults on environmental impact, renewable energy, and climate resilience projects across West Africa.
